AHEPA Opens Emergency Relief Fund in Wake of Hurricane Harvey

August 28, 2017

WASHINGTON, DC—The Order of AHEPA has opened its Emergency Relief

Fund to provide assistance to the victims of Hurricane Harvey and the catastrophic flooding Harvey brought with it, announced Supreme President Carl Hollister.

"Hurricane Harvey and the catastrophic flooding it has brought with it have caused widespread devastation," Supreme President Hollister said. "The people of Texas will need every ounce of assistance to recover and rebuild. We must do our part to help. We are urging our AHEPA chapters, members, and supporters to provide assistance through our Emergency Relief Fund as we have traditionally when natural disasters strike."

AHEPA Chapter 29, Houston, will be our point-of-contact. Past Supreme President Anthony Kouzounis, Houston, will oversee the relief effort, with assistance from Supreme Governor Nick Dixie and District 16 Governor Emmanuel Kaitson, to assess where best to distribute the aid.
